Meet Kristine. Kristine’s integrative therapeutic approach unites body and mind, combining somatic, cognitive, and trauma-informed therapies. She helps clients heal, grow, and build compassionate connections while holistically addressing mindset, bodily experience, and roles within the systems they inhabit.
Kristine’s professional journey is rooted in movement and human connection. Before becoming a psychotherapist, she was a globally recognised partner dance instructor, helping people cultivate empathy, attunement, and communication through movement. This passion evolved into a therapeutic career in which she now integrates her dance background with evidence-based psychological frameworks.
Kristine is a registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist (DMP) with further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and trauma-informed breathwork. Her integrative approach ensures that each client receives treatment tailored to their individual needs.
Kristine has extensive experience working across diverse clinical settings, from NHS trusts and hospitals to schools, mental health organisations, and community services. She has supported children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, complex trauma, psychosis, learning disabilities, and substance recovery. Whether in individual or group therapy, Kristine’s approach is collaborative and empowering, fostering resilience, clarity, and lasting change.
Movement is often at the core of her practice, not only as a form of expression, but also as a pathway to integration and understanding that transcends the limits of verbal engagement. Somatic work allows clients to reconnect with their bodies, release stored tension, and find new ways of relating to themselves and their environment. Breathwork, mindfulness, and creative processes are woven into sessions, helping clients regulate emotions, build resilience, and uncover healthier patterns of living.
Kristine offers both in-person and online sessions to ensure accessibility and flexibility. Services include individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, and tailored sessions for children and adolescents. All therapeutic offerings focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore challenges, cultivate self-acceptance, and move toward greater balance and fulfilment individually and relationally.
Healing is not about quick fixes; it is about building a sustainable foundation for wellbeing. Kristine’s practice empowers clients not only to manage immediate difficulties but also to develop the tools to thrive in the long term. By integrating mind, body, and environment, her work supports a deeper sense of connection, wholeness, and growth.
