I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor specialising in trauma recovery, deeply committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and empowering space for those navigating the impact of trauma. My experience spans working with individuals who have experienced childhood and adult abuse, forced migration, and cultural or intergenerational trauma, as well as supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, addictive behaviours, and relational challenges.
In trauma therapy, I take a phased approach, ensuring that clients feel grounded and supported throughout their healing journey. Depending on each individual’s needs, I incorporate Narrative Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, or Inner Child Therapy to help process and integrate traumatic experiences in a way that fosters resilience and self-compassion.
I also use Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which has profoundly shaped my practice. IFS’s gentle, non-pathologising framework aligns with my belief that every individual holds innate wisdom, creativity, and compassion—qualities that, when nurtured, can lead to deep healing and transformation. This approach has proven invaluable not only in trauma work but in helping clients navigate life’s many complexities.
My aim is to provide a warm, collaborative, and affirming space where you feel truly seen and heard. Healing is a journey, and you don’t have to walk it alone. I am here to help you move toward a place of greater self-understanding, emotional balance, and renewed strength.
Book now for a free 10-minute consultation with no obligation to continue. If you decide you would like to work together, sessions are usually on a weekly basis and last 50 minutes.
